"One Green Grape"
The Big Day
Sean and Samantha Grace! They are a very cute couple. Samantha was a beautiful bride in every way. It was even a gorgeous day at around 70*. They had a beautiful ceremony and luncheon. I got to help my mom and sister Ann dip strawberries and set up for the reception that afternoon. It was way fun! The reception was beautiful and I saw a lot of faces I hadn't seen in a long while, including Sam's and my roommate from NAU, Jenna Rothlesburger. It was great to catch up with everyone!
This past weekend I flew to Arizona for my best friends wedding. It was a brief trip but full of action! Michael had too many obligations at home, so he wasn't able to make the trip. I had dinner at Keith and Courtney's house, pretty much the best chef salad and breadsticks known to man! It was so good and our cousin Michael Loftus just happened to be in town and came too. It was quite fun catching up, as we hadn't seen him for about 4-5 years. We then headed to Phil and Leila's to see the kids and had an absolute blast. I didn't go horizontal until 1 or 2 that night. Yikes!
Christmas morning, as is tradition, Amber and Ann woke up early and sneaked a peek into their stockings. We then went back to bed and woke up at a more descent hour. We had the traditional Christmas Sausage Bake for breakfast. Phil and Leila and kids spent the whole day with us. Keith and Courtney came later for Christmas dinner, along with our cousins, and we had fun playing games and feasting. Aunt Lana (an awesome drummer) pleased us with an impromptu performance on empty gift boxes. We all held up a box near her and she played along as we sang Christmas songs. It was awesome!
