We spent Christmas of 2007 in Mesa, AZ with Amber's family. It was a blast and the weather was beautiful. It was fun to go shopping with 5 yr. old niece Raya for presents. She even helped wrap some. She was just so excited to help.Christmas morning, as is tradition, Amber and Ann woke up early and sneaked a peek into their stockings. We then went back to bed and woke up at a more descent hour. We had the traditional Christmas Sausage Bake for breakfast. Phil and Leila and kids spent the whole day with us. Keith and Courtney came later for Christmas dinner, along with our cousins, and we had fun playing games and feasting. Aunt Lana (an awesome drummer) pleased us with an impromptu performance on empty gift boxes. We all held up a box near her and she played along as we sang Christmas songs. It was awesome!
