We got home from the family reunion and left within a day for Littleton. We went camping at Turquoise Lake with Michael's family including his brother Chris, who just finished an internship in Texas, and his wife Amber . Ellie had fun with her cousins. The hammock was pretty fun. I love a hammock. Ellie only woke up twice each night. She was so bundled up! She did better than I thought she would. The lake was beautiful with a really nice -sandy beach along the entire Eastern shore. The first day was so warm, the kids even played in the water and made sand castles, etc.
Michael and I paddled a canoe clear across this lake minus baby of course. It took us an hour and a half and I thought we'd never get to the inlet where we met up with everyone else who drove. We hit an incredibly windy spot at least a mile long with waves one to two feet high going against us. It was torture. I was very happy to get out of the canoe. Michael did a lot of fishing. There weren't a lot of fish biting tho. :( It was so pretty and we got to do quite a bit of mountain biking around the lake. I love camping.
